About Plants vs Zombies
The lawn-defense game that made PopCap. Sunflowers generate sun (the resource). Peashooters fire down the lane. Walnut walls slow the zombies down. The five lanes are independent — anything that crosses your last plant on a lane eats your brain.
Each new level introduces a zombie that breaks the strategy you just learned. Conehead zombies eat through one wall before they die. Newspaper zombies actually speed up when you knock their paper off. Pole-vaulters skip your first wall completely. The lesson is that you can't pick a build at the start and let it ride — every level forces a re-think against the new threat.
Adventure mode runs 50 waves across day, night, pool, fog, and rooftop layouts; each adds an environmental constraint that limits which plants work. The bonus modes (Survival, Vasebreaker, I, Zombie) are where the post-campaign replay lives.
