About Mahjong Classic 2
Mahjong solitaire — match same-symbol free tiles, clear the layout. Twelve layouts ramp from beginner pyramid to the punishing Turtle and Dragon shapes that bury key tiles three layers deep.
A tile is "free" only if no tile sits on top of it and at least one side (left or right) is unblocked. The actual difficulty isn't recognising the symbols — it's reading which clears now will unblock cascade-deep stacks later. Most layouts have one or two pivotal pairs that, if removed in the wrong order, deadlock the rest of the board.
Classic mode is untimed and pure puzzle. Timer mode adds urgency for replay value. Hint button is generous — three free per layout, which is exactly enough to recover from a bad first move.
